Overview of biological signals
Overview of biological signals. Suitable to all study branches.
Dosimetry.
The lecture „Dosimetry - Measurement of Ionising Radiation“ is aimed to explain the term dosimetry and the basic quantities characterising the radiation from the aspect of their biological effects that allow to measure and to quantify them. Terms as dose, absorbed dose, absorbed dose rate, integral dose, equivalent dose, effective dose, kerma, kerma rate, exposure, exposure rate and connected formulas and physical units are explained.
Active electric biosignals I
The presentation offers an introduction to active electric biosignals from the point of view of their registration possibilities and analysis. Suitable to all study branches.
Active electric biosignals II
The presentation deals with active electric biosignals originating from the electric activity of the heart and with different possibilities of their registration and analysis. Suitable to all study branches.
Active electric biosignals III.
The lecture deals with active electric biosignals originating from the electric activity of the skeletal muscles, brain, stomach, and eyes, and with possibilities of their registration and analysis. Suitable to all study branches.
Basic elements of electric circuits

The lecture „Basic elements of electric circuits“ is aimed to explain basic terms, quantities and units It contains basic electrical values like electric current, electric resistance next measurement of electrical quantities and elements of electric circuit.
Passive electrical properties of tissues
The lecture „Passive electrical properties of tissues“ is aimed to explain basic terms, quantities and units necessary to understand electrical properties of biological tissues. It contains physiological values of individual quantities for some tissues and organs, electrical model of these properties, describes effect of electric current on tissues and its use in diagnostics and therapy. The lecture also includes safe values of electric current and rules for event of injury by electric current.
Conference MEFANET 2015

9th international conference of Czech and Slovak faculties of medicine and health care sciences November 25 – 26, 2015, Brno, Czech Republic
Apart from general aspects of e-learning, the conference will also be focused on the impact of this phenomenon on a specific field of medicine. The 9th year of the MEFANET conference is dedicated to:
