Preclinical Dentistry

Preclinical Dentistry is a mandatory course for dental students that provides the theoretical foundation and practical skills essential for clinical practice in dentistry. The course focuses on the anatomy and morphology of teeth, diagnosis and treatment planning, as well as mastering basic manual techniques such as tooth tissue preparation, restorative materials, and fundamental prosthodontic procedures. Training is conducted in a simulated environment, allowing students to practice on phantom models before interacting with real patients. The goal of the course is to prepare students to handle clinical situations safely and effectively in the subsequent stages of their studies.
Lectures in Nephrology

As part of nephrology education, medical students acquire theoretical and practical knowledge of kidney anatomy and physiology, diagnostic methods such as urine and blood tests, and the latest therapeutic approaches for kidney diseases. The study also includes monitoring and managing patients with kidney problems.

Orthopaedic Dentistry

Orthopaedic Dentistry is a study subject in winter semester of the 6th Class Dentistry at the Faculty of Medicine Comenius University in Bratislava. It contets 18 hours of lectures and 72 hours of clinical practice. The course is finished by a credit test with evaluation 4 ECTS credits.
