Complete set of 6 topics from course „Oral surgery 3“ , which include 12 hours of lectures in summer semester in the 4th class of study of Dentistry at the Faculty of Medicine Comenius University in Bratislava.                                                                                         

  • Surgical procedures accomplishing endodontics  (Indications and contraindications of apicectomy, surgical technique by apicectomy. Other procedures).
  • Cysts of hard tissue in orofacial region (Radicular cysts, dentigerous cysts, periodontal cysts. Non-odontogenic bone cysts. Surgical technique by cystectomy in bone. Diagnostics and operation of a cyst in maxillary sinus. Preventive aspects).
  • Cysts of soft tissue in orofacial region.
  • Node syndrom (inflammations of lymphnodes, oncological disorders).
  • Dental injuries (Fractures of teeth, position changes). Fractures of alveolar processes. Accompaning soft tissue injuries (skin, mucosa).
  • Precancers of oral mucosa and skin. Principles of follow-up in precancers.

The subject Oral surgery 3 is finished by written test and the oral exam.
